Marc de Boer (1964) is attorney-at-law (“advocaat”), admitted to the Amsterdam Bar, since 1990. He is founding partner, together with Matthijs Kaaks, of Boekx Advocaten (founded on January 1, 2005).

Marc is specialized in media and intellectual property law (especially trademark law and copyright). In the field of media he gained a unique position as independent legal counsel for public and commercial broadcasters, tv-production companies and other players in the media. His area of expertise includes media law (advertising and sponsoring), tv formats and production and other media and film contracts. Marc has a background in publishing and has extensive experience with corporate and commercial transactions in the publishing world. In his intellectual property work Marc created a high level of expertise in especially trademarks and domain name disputes.
